TAIF PSJC and Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC participate in 12th UTECH Europe 2018

The working group composed of Director General of TAIF PSC Albert Shigaboutdinov, Director General of Nizhnekamskneftehim PJSC Azat Bikmurzin, Commercial Director of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Timur Shigabutdinov, Deputy Director General of TAIF PSC in the field of oil refining and petrochemistry Anand Subramanian, Chief of Staff – Assistant to Director General of TAIF PSC Ayrat Shigabutdinov, head of department for development and organization of new production facilities of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Denis Maksimov, Chief of Staff – Assistant to Director General of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Denis Demidov, visited the International exhibition and conference of polyurethane industry, UTECH Europe 2018, which was held in the Dutch city of Maastricht in MECC Maastricht exhibition centre.

Leading enterprises in the world are among permanent exhibitors of UTECH Europe exhibition: Atofina, Air Products, Bayer, Cannon Group, BASF, Covestro, DOW, Wanhua, Goldschmidt, Great Lakes, Hennecke, Huntsman, OSi Specialties, Repsol, Shell Chemicals, Tosoh, Mitsui Chemicals, Kumho Mitsui Chemicals that represent all sectors of the polyurethane industry.

There have been held several meetings with officials of many companies including Kumho Mitsui Chemicals (joint enterprise of Japan and South Korea), Wanhua (China), Samsung (South Korea), Huntsman (USA) where issues of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.

UTECH Europe 2018 is the leading exhibition for the world polyurethane industry. It's been the 12th exhibition since the beginning of its work in 1986. Its history began in the Hague in 1986. The exhibition is held once in three years. In 2006, UTECH Europe was held in Maastricht for the first time. It's the place where the borders of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium come together thanks to a unique situation, it's been a real international event. UTECH Europe is dedicated to problems in the production of polyurethane goods. Constructors and technical specialists in the automotive, aviation, textile industries and mechanical engineering as well as other industries where polyurethane goods are widely used or implemented traditionally take part at UTECH Europe.

The exhibition demonstrates a wide range of application of polyurethane technologies that are used in several industrial sectors — from tiny medical devices to roof insulation of the highest skyscrapers.
