On 4 May, on the territory of the Kazan Arena stadium there was opened Yurkin Park. One of the first guests of the Park of the dinosaurs was the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, aide to the President Natalia Fishman, a Moscow schoolboy Stepan Savelyev.
Yurkin Park in Kazan is the largest Park of moving dinosaurs in Russia and occupies an area at more than 6 ha. If you look at the Park from a bird's eye view, we can see that the Park was created in the form of a giant paw print of a prehistoric dinosaur.
In the Park the visitors can enjoy about 150 dinosaurs in natural size, 105 out of them can move. Also, the guests will be invited to participate in the 25 dinoamusememnts. The largest figure reaches a height of about 20 metres. The size of the smallest dinosaur is about 50x40 centimetres. All the dinosaurs are mounted on a stable metal frame. Also, additional bracings are provided to ensure maximum safety. The figures are manufactured in China.
The Park is a temporary project yet, it will be open until October 15.
