3 500 people ‘crossed the threshold to summer’: Karavon was celebrated on a large scale

On 29 May, ХXIV Russian Folk Festival Karavon was held in Russkoe Nikolskoe village of Laishevka rayon. It gathered the record number of participants – 3 500 people, more than 150 musical groups from Tatarstan and other regions of Russia, 270 masters of decorative arts. The chairperson of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin welcomed the participants of the festival.
