East-West. Patriotic Wars of Russia. Day 2: “We are Rushing to the Border. August 1944...”

The interregional military and historical festival East-West. Patriotic Wars of Russia took place on the territory of the Tatarstan National Museum in Kazan on 3 and 4 August. The second day of the festival - on 4 August - was dedicated to the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945. Wartime songs played in the museum halls, there were a retro fashion catwalk show and a dance programme in the style of the 1940s. Young Fight School educational interactive site worked during the festival in the museum's yard where the participants could get closer to peculiarities of military science. The reconstruction “We are Rushing to the Border. August 1944...” from military and historical clubs with the recreated uniform of different troops of the Red Army and Wehrmacht was the key event of the day.
