Victory Day in Kazan: wreaths to Eternal Flame, monument to home front workers and Kazan submarine

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Tatarstan State Adviser Mintimer Shaimiyev and other officials laid wreaths to the Eternal Flame of the colonnade of the Glory Memorial in the Victory Park on 9 May. 

Back in the park, Minnikhanov looked over a new monument to the home front workers. Then Rustam Minnikhanov and Mintimer Shaimiyev laid flowers to the Monument to Mothers and Widows of Dead Soldiers. The event ended next to another landmark of the Victory Park - the sail of Kazan submarine. Here Rustam Minnkhanov was welcomed by members of Marine Assembly of the Republic of Tatarstan social organisation.
