Izge Bolgar zhyeny: hotel with historic banya, modern touristic centre and the scroll with a message to descendants

On 21 May, a series of events was held in the framework of the festival 'Izge Bolgar zhyeny' in Bolgar dedicated to the day of official adoption of Islam by Volga Bolgaria. The event was attended by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, state counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, the chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual administration, the Supreme mufti of Russia Talgat Tadzhuddin, the chairman of Spiritual administration of Muslims of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin, the metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan and others.

The President of Tatarstan laid in the foundation of the Bolgarian Islamic Academy the commemorative capsule with a message to descendants in four languages: Russian, Tatar, English and Arabic.

Then the guests visited the construction site of the hotel 'Kul Gali' with banya complex. Now it is ready at 35%.

Also, Rustam Minnikhanov watched the exposition of the Museum of the Bolgarian cilivization, dedicated to the history of Turko-Tatar writing and took a walk along the embarkment.
