Road of Memory goes through Kazan

Kazan took part in Road of Memory relay on 23 February. According to Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Aleksandr Bastrykin's decision, 2019 began with a big relay dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, which kicked off in Vladivostok on 15 January. Employees of the Russian Investigative Committee will collect soil from ten cities of Russia where our fathers and grandfathers fought for the Victory on battlefields and on the home front into a special capsule. The relay will end near Brest Fortress in May. After the solemn closure of the relay, the capsule will be given to the museum of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for storage.
