From Heart to Heart: Mintimer Shaimiev's new book presented in Kazan Kremlin

The presentation of the book From Heart to Heart. Selected Speeches and interviews of First President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Special UNESCO Envoy for Intercultural Dialogue Mintimer Shaimiev took place in the Kazan Kremlin on 7 September.

The edition of the book is dedicated to the Kazan Forum for Intercultural Dialogue, which is held under the aegis of Mintimer Shaimiev. Representatives, experts, special envoys and UNESCO good will ambassadors, international experts and members of scientific communities for intercultural dialogue, science and culture activists of Russia and Tatarstan were invited to the presentation.

The new book in Russian, Tatar and English include speeches, articles and interviews of the first president of the Republic of Tatarstan about strengthening interreligious, interethnic peace and harmony, the establishment of consecutive and constructive dialogue between peoples, conservation of historical and cultural heritage and promotion of UNESCO values and models.

Director of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation Eleonora Mitrofanova presented the book.
