Songs, dances, games, pancakes and more pancakes! Kazan celebrates Maslenitsa

On 17 February, Kazan citizens celebrated Maslenitsa in the ice town on Millennium Square. The guests of the festival were offered a fair of products made by decorative-applied art masters, folk field, concert-entertaining programme with competitions and prize draws. The festivities ended with the traditional burning of the Maslenitsa effigy.
