'Russia — my history': the historical park opened in Kazan

The multimedia historical park 'Russia - my history' opened on 27 October in Kazan. The event was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Plenipotentiary of Russian President in the Volga Federal District Alexey Sukhov, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shyikhraziev, Chairman of the Patriarchal Council for culture Bishop Tikhon (Georgy Shevkunov), Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin.

The historical park using a variety of information carriers - touch tables, 3D screens, cinema theaters, audio guides - presents the long history of Russia. The museum exposition is divided into four thematic sections: 'The Rurikids', 'The Romanovs', ''From great upheaval to the Great Victory' (1917-1945) and 'Russia — my history' (1945-2016). The total exhibition area is 5,5 thousand sq. m.
