14th World Wushu Championships ended in the Kazan Gymnastics Centre. The tournament took place in the capital of Tatarstan from 28 September to 3 October. The competitions had two major wushu events: sanda and taolu. International Wushu Federation Vice-President Anthony Goh, First Deputy Minister on Youth Affairs and Sport of Tatarstan Khalil Shaikhutdinov and Director of the Shanghai Wushu Institute Yuan Wei participated in the closing ceremony.
