Orientalists from around the world gathered in Kazan: Kazan Federal University hosts the conference ''Russia-China: history and culture''

The 10th international scientific-practical conference ''Russia-China: history and culture'' dedicated to the 210th anniversary of Kazan Oriental studies opened on 5 october in the Kazan Federal University. The topics of the conference were traditional. The participants within three days discussed topical issues of the philology and methods of teaching Chinese language, Russian-Chinese relations, the foreign policy of China, history, philosophy and culture of China.
