Per aspera ad astra: what UNESCO director general saw in the eyepiece of Kazan telescope

Yesterday UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova visited the V. P. Engelhardt Astronomical Observatory of the Kazan Federal University. After visiting the observatory, there was held a round-table talk where a possibility to include it in the UNESCO World Heritage List was considered.
