The annual meeting of Izge Bolgar Zhyeny took place on 20 May in Bolgar (Spassky district of Tatarstan). Celebrations were timed to the day of acceptance of Islam by the Tatar ancestors. The main ceremony was held at the site in front of the built Bolgarian Islamic Academy. The event attended by thousands of Muslims.
