On horse again! New riding season opened at Kazan hippodrome

A new riding season opened at the Kazan hippodrome on 28 April. Spectators could watch 12 heats and a competition for prizes Spring, Kazan Debut, Hero of the Soviet Union named after M.P. Devyataev, Riding Season Opening, May and others. Horses and athletes from Moscow, Mari El, Bashkiria, Samara, Orenburg Oblast, Penza Oblast, Tatarstan and other regions fought for the prizes. The prize money of the competition day totalled over 500,000 rubles.
