On 6 and 7 January, in Orthodox temples, ceremonial services devoted to the celebration of Nativity of Jesus took place. On the evening of 7 January the Metropolitan of Kazan and TatarstanFeofan made ceremonial evening service at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Kazan Kremlin.
