The official opening ceremony of the judo championship among regional subdivisions and educational organisations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs took place on 15 March in Box and Table Tennis Centre. About 500 athletes from 56 regions including 16 educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs are taking part in the competition.
