Carnations in the snow: How Kazan paid tribute to Musa Jalil

Famous Tatar poet, Hero of the Soviet Union, Lenin Prize owner Musa Jalul is 111 years today. Natural flowers are laid to the monument to the poet in the 1 May Square on this day every year.
