The Brusilov Advance after 100 years moved to Kubinka: Russian Land Forces Day was celebrated by large-scale historic reenactment

The Military-Patriotic Park 'Patriot' has hosted for the first time the festival of historical reenactment 'The Brusilov Advance' in the framework of Day of Russian Land Forces. This year, the legendary operation of reunion of the South-Western Front, which has become the major strategic success of the Russian Army in the First World War, celebrates its 100 ^th anniversary.

There were a lot of interactive sites, in particular, you could personally get acquainted with small arms of the World War I and to touch the real German armored car or British tank, as well as learn knife-throwing and the techniques of bayonet fighting. Besides, the modern equipment Ratnik was presented.

The main events took place on the field, where the whole battle with machine guns, artillery, aircrafts and armored vehicles took place. In total, the event was attended by about 1,000 military re-enactors from ten countries. About how it was – in the photo report of Ruslan Davletshin.
