Republic’s Day in the Kazan Hippodrome: bitter falls, competitions of Amazons and victory of Ramzan Kadyrov’s horse

Races dedicated to the celebration of the Republic's Day and City's Day took place on 30 August. Races of thoroughbred horses called the Tatarstan President's Cup were the main event in the equestrian season. The head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov's horse won the competition.

Thoroughbred Arabian horses and foreign jockeys have taken part in the races for the first time. And there was a live transmission of the races in Arab countries via satellite television.
